Pay Per Click Advertising

Pay Per Click Advertising

I’m not going to repeat what I wrote in the PPC advertising section at the MLM Lead Generation page, but I do want to state a couple key points here.

First, BE CAREFUL!  Yes, it is true that PPC represents a revolution in advertising, providing micro-targeting, precise tracking, allows you to only pay when someone actually visits your full ad (ie, clicks on your smaller google ad), and allows you to get almost instant viewers. HOWEVER, if you do this wrong, you can waste alot of money really quickly with basically nothing to show for it. I know I sure did!

Second, Be VERY targeted. Don’t write ads that are too general for anyone to really be interested. Anyone that does click (and therefore that you pay for) is then just a gamble, since you don’t really know what they are looking for or what they might buy.

Third, Have a strategic business plan laid out BEFORE you start advertising. This is a little more complicated, but if you have a full strategy on how to "monetize" your visitors, each person that you pay to see your information is more valuable to you. You should have, at least: a way to get their contact information and an automated follow up system, a specific product to sell them, related products to sell them in the future, and have your opportunity as a "back end".

Don’t worry about that last point, I can help you out there. First off, when you sign up for my free reports in the upper right of this page, one of the reports you get is Beginner’s Guide to Online Marketing. That helps you set up a website, integrate an auto-responder system, and use the Magnetic Sponsoring funded proposal system initially to offer a high quality, low priced information product to offset advertising costs. (If you haven’t read that yet, you need to pick up a copy, at least go sign up for the free boot-camp and carefully read his salesletter.)

Beyond that, Perry Marshall’s Definitive Guide to Adwords is the key resource to learn the basics of Adwords. And soon, both Mike Dillard and Mark Wieser will be releasing training programs on how to use Adwords, but SPECIFICALLY for network marketers. I’m getting a beta-copy of Mike’s training in the next couple days, so I’ll review that and link to it from here when it is available to everyone.
