How I made $608,717 In a Scam
Are you a schemer like me? Always thinking of short-cuts to success, ways to bring in some money quick? Not in a bad way, not illegal or anything, but just, well… quickly. We’ve all got families to feed, and things to do, right? Now, let me forewarn you: I’m a schemer, but I’m also Polish, so it doesn’t always work out that great.
I DO have a good short cut now, but it probably isn’t what you are thinking. Well, I don’t know what you are thinking, but, if you ARE a schemer, then you aren’t thinking of it.
Anyway, back to my $608,717 scam. This actually ISN’T the method I’m going to talk about later. It was a scam that I myself fell for, and it cost me 8.5 years of my life that I’ll never get back, but at least I did make some money with it. Actually, if I total it up, it cost me something more like 12.5 years. It’s called “go to school, then get a real job”.
Did you fall for this one too? I hope not, but if so, you’re not alone and I sympathize. This one gets more people than the famous Nigerian e-mail scam, WAYYYYY more than all the online scams put together and then doubled and doubled again. I’m not saying college wasn’t fun (and I didn’t even have to pay, since I was fortunate enough to get a full-ride), but equating it to life-fulfillment and a high-paying job is flat-out dangerous. Too many people fall for this scam, and spend the next 15 years busting their humps paying off their massive student loans, then find themselves too far down a career path to want to change, until of course they are down-sized out of a job with no real plan B. Or, if everything goes right and according to plan, until they labor for 30 years.
Ah, that doesn’t sound like a good idea to me. Who thought of that one?….
Well, I fell for this one hook, line, and sinker. I have always had entrepreneurial yearnings, but, as I said, unfortunately I’m Polish. I ended up backing into a job as an actuary, and then found myself down sprinting down a road I didn’t want to be going down any more. Working 12 hour days at times, sometimes more, with a growing amount of responsibility and time commitment to the job, and not making what I know I’m worth. Millions.
Just like you, I want to experience life with my family in a stress-free way, doing it on OUR terms.
There’s so much more to life than slaving away for someone else, doing a good job with what you are doing, but not being really PASSIONATE about it. If you are reading this, you’ve probably thought about starting your own business, or maybe already have. (Being the schemer that you are!) And for that, I applaud you. You’ve taken a step that too few people are willing to take, probably endured some eye-rolling or worse from some people close to you, but that is fine. You are simply on a different path than most people, and you are going to live a completely different life because of it. Not the least of which is giving your family more choices than they ever thought possible, and being able to spend as much time with them as you want, WITHOUT worrying about money while you do it.
Now here’s the rub, there is a “short-cut”, but even that is going to take some intensive work, diligent studying, and strategically applying that knowledge for a longer period of time than you realize. But, this isn’t a 30-year plan kind of thing. This is a 2 to 4 year plan (like college, but graduating to a new lifestyle.) Too often, we are lured by the thought of; if not “get rich quick” kind of money, at least get rich “pretty quick”. Yes, some people do have what appears to be quick success, but more often than not there is a part of the story that is missing. The part where they struggled for a few years before they really figured everything out. Hmmm, kind of an important part…
THAT is where we can short-cut the learning curve, you and I. By studying, in a massive kind of way, what those before us have gone through in order to reach success. As they say, success leaves clues. Success also writes books and sells educational programs too.
Here is what I’m doing, and this is how I can help you out too, depending on what you are doing, but if you are doing anything online I should be able to help you. I am MASSIVELY studying principles, techniques, and strategies for doing both internet marketing, and network marketing. I am carefully documenting what I learn, applying it, tracking it precisely, actually recording what I am doing online in videos, and publishing reports and videos about it.
How to set up a website, setting up a blog, using pay per clicks, e-zine ads, testing and tracking, using auto-responders, using video, getting indexed, getting links, making widgets and toolbars, social marketing and web 2.0, selling affiliate products, creating and selling your own products, setting up an affiliate program, and more. I’m covering it all.
Oh yeah, and I’m doing that all free. And, you can pass that out for free to anyone you’d like to. Consider me a guru-buster, if you will. (I bow.)

And remember, the biggest scam out there is the life that most people out there are living (unless they’ve consciously chosen it, of course): working for 30+ years, always at the mercy of their employer, with no Plan B. Losing their passion, losing their dream, not getting the most out of life. It is a trap that is just too easy to fall into.
